Halvergate Recorded One of our key projects is to produce a pictorial history of the area. Many of you will have old family photographs, postcards and newspaper cuttings with pictures of our villages as they were generations ago. You can share these with other people by contacting us and allowing us to reproduce them on this website. The images will be scanned and returned to their owners. |

This is one of a series of Postcards that were produced around 1900/1910. The photograph shows the Parish Church, then as now surrounded by the massive Lime trees. The foreground shows two Carts, one stopping for refreshment at the village pond. The two Carts are shown enlarged below. Does anybody recognise a family similarity? |
