This site has been created to provide the residents of Halvergate and Tunstall and the surrounding villages with a voice on the internet. We look forward to hearing from all local residents in Halvergate, Tunstall, Wickhampton, Freethorpe, Reedham, Limpenhoe, Cantley.

Halvergate is blessed with the Halvergate Marshes, a place of Special Scientific interest, littered with dozens of Windmills and the home of a vast array of wildlife including huge flocks of migrating birds. Always a favourite with the twitchers.

The Weavers Way runs straight through Halvergate and there are miles of interesting local walks suitable for all ages and levels of determination. The area abounds with good quality Public Houses offering Home Made Food, Fine Wines and a good selection of Ales.

In the months to come I hope you will find these pages packed with local information, news, sport, interesting history, classified ad's and much more. We are eager to find contributors to fill these pages with regular reports and stories, so get in contact now. We are especially keen to compile a pictorial history of the area. If you have old photographs or postcards of the area please let us know.
